Can anyone identify this random creature that has magically appeared?

Just saw this thing for the first time in my tank. It is about an inch long. Any ideas on what it is?

Pretty sure it’s an elephant slug. They’re generally considered reef safe hitchhikers.

Wow yeah. Same spot on similar (same?) coral.

I had one of these in my last reef. It came on live rock and did a good job with algae. I was happy to have it.

Lucky you, he will keep your tank free of algae elephant slug actually he is not a slug but is called one. He is a snail. Just make sure he has algae . Wish I could borrow one cant find any to buy

Yes, they had them in stock about a month ago. I've never seen them for sale in Canada before, so I had to grab a pair.

Do they eat biopsis ? I have never seen them for sale i am in florida its hard to find info on them
