While doing my weekly water change, I found this little beast living in my filter sponge, can anyone identify?

Looks to me like an amphipod.No need to worry about them!They will benefit your tank!

Yes I put him back in, he's quite a fast little fella

He's in my sump, so he should be safe

You want them in your display as well.They are a great food source and will reproduce fairly often.Just one of theyre many benefits
