Can anyone tell me what happened??

I'm devastated. I lost two fish in 8 hours. Last night around 10pm I noticed one of my clowns on his side laying on the sand with this white lesion on his side (he was perfectly fine when I turned the lights off at 6pm) I put him in a iso box hoping he'd make it, but I made the mistake of leaving a section of the tank uncovered to clasp the box to the tank and my Diamond Goby jumped out. So I woke up to two funerals cause my clown didn't make it...

I've never seen a mark like this on any of my fish before. Can anyone identify what killed my clown? Is it contagious? Do I need to dose my tank with anything?
The first photo the area looks black, but it was really actually white. Almost looked like he got bit? But I don't have any aggressive fish in the tank

Diamond Goby ( RIP )
Another Clown (they were purchased together and I never saw any aggression between them)
Firefish
Christmas Wrasse (baby baby only 1"-1.25")
Sailfin Tang (4"ish - also have never seen him be aggressive)

Tough to say what that is exactly, looks like an injury…maybe the tang told a swipe at it?

If you post a video of the other clown (under white lights) I can look for symptoms that would indicate that this might be something contagious.

I tried to get a good video, I hope this is enough. She looks like she's struggling to swim but she's not. She's just right in front of my strong wave maker.

The mottled skin and weak swimming pattern isn't right - trouble is, that isn't indicative of any specific disease. Is she still eating well?

You I believe have the intuition of a psychic The very thing happened to me with my Valingi Tang. It had to TRY to drive my Diamond Goby out but it did. I actually heard it sounded like a shark attack. My Yellow was a Hippie compared to this Psychotic murderer

Yeah. I just fed her and she was out eating how she normally does. Here's a better video of her swimming but unfortunately I didn't have the whites higher before taking it.

This video is very clear. See how it’s swimming with a stiff body? That is a general sign of an unhappy clown. No skin mucus, so I do t think it’s brooklynella. Do you ever see it scratch on tank surfaces?

No, doesn't scratch, doesn't seem bothered. Same with the one that died. When I saw them and they were perfectly happy, swimming around. Then I checked on them not even 4 hours later and he was like that.

Looks to me like he may have gotten sick lost his skin mucous anf gotten stung by an anemone? Doesnt look like Brookynella.

No, doesn't scratch, doesn't seem bothered. Same with the one that died. When I saw them and they were perfectly happy, swimming around. Then I checked on them not even 4 hours later and he was like that.
