Trying to figure out where to place MPR, and the best place to put it would end up making he back go under water when I shut my return pump off, can it be in the tank without leaching anything?

Yes, it uses the same magnet used by the ATK bracket, and is fully sealed so it can be submerged. This is also true with the “dry side” magnet on the WAV powerhead.

Neptune recommends inspecting the magnets periodically, just like you should for any other submerged magnets you have.
