Can I frag, cut in half, ect to this carpet anemone? And how? I just watched a you tube video of a guy bringing it to his kitchen sink, blatantly cutting it with a kitchen knife into 4 pieces (less the 30 second's) and putting it back in the tank!! I was horrified!!! Not only for the poor animal, but doing it on a wooden cutting board, kitchen knife and in the kitchen sink!!! And then to get it in and out of the food container, he used the tip of the knife!!! I cannot watch another video afraid of someone else doing this that's why I'm turning to you guys. ❤️

How can I frag this 5" guy without more harm then I have to?

I don't like to frag anemones and won't do it myself but cutting them in half or fourths is the only way to frag them. Leaving them to split on their own can take years depending on species/genotype/variety. There is some risk of individuals dying when cut but that is risk with natural splits also.
