Can I bury the trunk of my Kenya tree deep in the sand? It keeps shrinking in the flow and the other place that I can move it to just has a sand bed. I had it in the sand before but it fell over. I need to really bury it.

I believe it will be prone to rot in the sand. Wedge it between a rock and a rock and it should grab on and grow.

I got one once or twice and they died. When they survived, I later took them back to the LFS and traded them in.

Thank you! I can’t tell if it’s ok or not. It opens then closes, opens again etc. I don’t think it has ever been fully extended though.

ime they sort of "mirgrate" somewhat, i had one wedge between the rocks, then they sorta grow toward the top of the rocks and the tissues in the wedge completed disappeared. Now its right on the peak of the rock.

I have mine wedged horizontally between two rocks above the sand. I think I’m just going to leave it there and see what happens.

Mine is glued to a large frag plug under the sand and is doing fine as you can see. Looks like a oak tree…
