Hi

I bought this tank off a person I know who had a whole breeding set up with racks in hi garage. The pictures isn't great but what you're looking at is the top of the tank. As far as I'm concerned these are not actual braces (?) But a way to keep the glass lids on.

Is it safe to cut these off so that I can have an open top tank?

Thank you

You can remove the rim pieces, but I would not remove the center cross-brace as it is structural. That does not look like very thick glass, and it is likely to bow significantly without it.
