It is recommended to place the rock on the glass bottom and then add sand so the rock is more stable. The rock bottom isn’t usually flat so there should be little caves or arrange the rock against each other leaving space near the bottom.
Yeah i know I regret my mistake but like is it ok will the diamond watchman goby get crushed by the rock

I think you will be OK that rock over the time it has been there, probably settled on or near the glass bottom.

Here’s a picture where I rarely get all the fish in it.

Ya, it’s nothing elaborate like most of the other scapes on this forum. I just got live rock that had been sitting in a friend’s sump for a couple of decades. But once corals fill in you really can’t see the actual scape.

Mine has a burrow under a rock and every morning there is sand all over everything from him cleaning things out at night, I was wondering how it happened, but I saw it all go down last night. So wherever he decides to bed down for the night, you might want to move anything away from there that would be agitated by sand on it.

If he gets annoyed with anyone else, he will kick sand on them too. He does it to my flame hawk when he gets too close.

Diamond gobies are amazing! I highly recommend one! But you do need a deep sandbed. at least 2 inches. Mine is probably my favorite fish to watch. You also need a tight fitting lid as they jump when spooked.

also, as Cbonito stated, they move the heck out of some sand. Mine does the exact same! He moves sand constantly, its kind of comical to watch. One time he moved a cerith snail cuz it got in his burrow.
