I want to do a anemone/clownfish only tank. I have a nuvo 20 and was wondering if I can get 1 maroon clownfish and a yellow prawn goby shrimp pair. Thats all that I have planned

As a juvenile, you would be fine, however, as an adult they can attain over 6” in length. Granted they don’t need as much swimming room as some of the foraging fish, such as Angels and Tangs, you would be better off with Perculas.

If it was a 20 long I would say probably, but it would be pushing it. Your tank only has 14-15 gallons of display volume. That is half of the recommended minimum size for these fish and I would advise against it. You should be basing your stocking level off of 14-15 gallons, not 20.

Your fine, maroon can be protective as hell of thier anemone, so if other fish get to close it can be a battle. But a 20 will be fine as long as you keep up with your husbandry. I would agree that percs would be a safer choice though.
