Can I put a bag of carbon in my skimmer?

Does anyone else do this to help with the smell? I know there’s carbon pads but I don’t have any of them so I’m wondering if I can put it directly in.

You can put a bag of carbon on the lid of the collection cup

 

[Spare time]

Buy one of the carbon filter pads and place on top of the lid's air holes.

You could also use a tiny air filter too.

Mine doesn’t smell like sewage until
I open the collection container .
Even to remove the collection cup it doesn’t smell . Where it flows into … yes it’s terrible . But sealed
