I’m setting up a quarantine tank and have only two options:

1) in this closet with very little natural light.
2) Next to a massive window with a ton of diffuse sunlight

If I put it on my desk near the window I’ll be able to watch my fish while I work (which I’m hoping to do), and if I opt for the closet quarantine they will be totally out of sight.

I’d love any opinions on this. Thanks!

velvet is photosynthetic but if you plan to use copper.... I suppose you will kill it all the same.

Actually. another issue is the degradation by UV of medications. Through 1 glass (the window). and another - the tank. it shoudl be minimal IMHO
