I added pods to my sump, algae reactor and display.
I have Algagen Phypo pure and I'm sure it's good for pods. I know ocean magic and D.T. are also good. They all require refrigeration and they are all expensive!

Seachem phytoplankton does not require refrigeration and is less expensive. I can put it on a doser.

Can I use seachem phytoplankton to feed my pods and tank?

Based on observing my pods, they seem to graze on the biofilm and algae present on the glass, surface of the rocks/filter
media and even pumps. I’m not convince that the pods will consume free floating phyto but I guess its no harm just dosing. I’ve used Seachem’s phyto in the past but I think if you really want something with finer particulates, I’d recommend Brightwell’s Phyto-S.
