I have paid for those snails at my LFS, they should be fine.

But agree with other poster looks ALOT like red banded trochus

If I am correct and it is a trochus then it is a good part of your CUC and will help scour rocks and the walls for algae! Does it look like this but a smaller version?

Or more like this? Which would be a turbo snail, also good CUC.
