Can someone help me id this turtle

I recommend them having both water and UVB lighting available at all times. While they can be healthy for a time without them (maybe a week for water, a month or so for UVB), they will absolutely need them to survive in the long run. Both are essential for your turtle. Sunlight can provide UVB, but the turtle will need to spend all day outside in a deep pond with partial shade. UVB and clean, plentiful, and oxygenated water are needed for all aquatic turtles. This is what happens when a turtle gets too little UVB, whether from the sun or not. This is called Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD). Very unhealthy for the animal, as UVB is needed for shell growth and the turtle's internal functions.



That being said, I'm not a turtle expert. I highly recommend joining this forum, the folks over there will be able to help you much more. Roofed turtles are very uncommon in the U.S. (I don't believe I've ever seen one here), but I think that there are a few folks here from India who have them, as well as breeders and conservationists who know more. Keep an eye on them. I'll say keep them saperated on water. Smaller one will be fine if it eats 2-3 pellets. U mentioned bigger one bitting smaller one, that could lead to injury/wound. They r tough animals so all the best. U hv already received good advices:).

Is this shell rot? I hv joined forums but they r all slow.

Also is this fungal or bacterial? Both of them have this white thing and i think I saw yesterday skin peeling so may be bacterial? Someone told me to put betadine on it

As I said, I'm not a turtle expert. Their forum might be a little slow, but that's the only place where people will be able to give you really good advice. I'm not sure what your turtle has here, if it has anything.

Ahh not little slow it is very slow. I posted yesterday and still waiting. I am still waiting for turtle forum to accept registration :(. Still I hv given them salt water bath as I read that on internet.

I just looked on larger screen than my phone yes and is Indian roof and has similar habitat to red ear slider but different diet in which it eats snails, greens, small crabs, weeds, dandelions and grass

And... Drink!
