preferably not a Google pic. I have been looking for weeks trying to find a good pic, but everytime I think I find one, I keep looking and someone else is claiming it's not dino's but cyano. I am trying to nail down what I have in my tank before I rip the stubbles out of my head.

Honestly, a picture of what you have in your tank, if possible, would be more helpful for the community to help you ID it.

It appears to be fairly isolated. Vacuum it up and do a WC. Best case it's cyano or other "mild" algae. Worst case it's dinos (doesn't look like it to me, but it's possible). Vacuuming it up, doing a WC, and managing nutrient input and export should be done regardless.

Well, I've been doing (aside from when I treat with chemiclean) 15 gallon water changes every day or other day for the last two weeks. I only feed once a day, either mysis or Elos pellets. Last week my phosphates were .07. This past Tuesday they were .03.

If you used chemiclean, and follow the instructions (lots of WC, skimming, changing out filter socks frequently, etc) , then it will die off if it's cyano. Chemiclean is an antibacterial. Cyano is a bacteria.

The issue tends to be that the cause of the cyano in the first place doesn't change, so it will come back shortly after treatment.

Seems like Dino's to me. If it is, water changes definitely make them worse so stop doing those.
