Hi,

I've got some acros witch I placed too close to each other.
And ofcourse one grows straight too the other in stead of going up as I would like it to do.
One is a green staghorn and the other an 500$ Efflo.
Can these two species touch without killing one or another?

I read that some acropora can touch and others can't becous they are aggressive.
Is there a list of aggressive and passive corals?

I got a seriatopora and a stylophora growing into each other without a problem.

Some can and some can't, its luck of the draw. I had a cheap acan attack my very high end blasto and kill one of the polyps while another acan is touching a chalice and nothing has happen so far. Thankfully the blasto made a recovery and grew to over 20 heads. You will see how they react when they touch. If you start to see white sections then it is attacking it and will need to be cut back.

As above... Some can, and some can't. Heck people have had luck with torch's touching hammers, and yet for others the torch melts the hammer. Luck of the draw really.

I have an oregon tort that touch's an acro, the acro wins every time. Yet in another area, the same tort touch's another acro in which they coexist just fine and have intertwined with each other.

If you start seeing white bits on one of them while the other continues to grow, cut the growing one away from the one being stung.

Ok so is just a bit of luck than.
If they would react aggressive do they kill each other completely or just the parts that touch?

I've never lost a "colony" to warefare. Just the touching bits, and it can often spread a small distance up and down the actually spot thats touching, but never the entire colony.

I suppose with small frags, loosing the entire frag is completely possible.
