Stability of parameters wins imo.
Tank is only 8 months old.
Good flow, good lights,
Filter sock, good skimmer, carx , bare bottom, good trace elements and no water changes has been my success.
Last and important feed fish 4 times a day.

I puree clams, mussels, shrimp. Mix in aminos. It stays suspended well. Maybe that is not needed....?

A Boomberry acropora from boom corals 1/25/20 second is yesterday 2/23/20 I switched to metal halides just after the first picture.
