Hey all,
I’ve had my 45 gallon up and running for 1.5 months. It’s fully cycled. Have some softies and 1-2 lps. The softies are happy, los are okay. Nitrates are 2-4 and ph, alk and salinity stable. Have a red sea led 90. Blues are at 30% acclimating up to 50%. As far as lighting is concerned I’m clueless. I have no idea where i am aiming for. I don’t have access to a par meter. At this point im just guessing

I assume from this graph from their website that these number are with the fixture at 100%. With softies and LPS, 100 par is good initial target. Maybe you can figure it out by comparing your settings, dimensions, and coral placement to the graph.

Thanks. Stupid question but if i cut the lights to 50% would that valve the par values on the graph?

Not a stupid question. I'm not sure. As you noted without a par meter it's just guessing. I have no idea if par output is linear with power output. Your original plan starting at 30% is as sound as any.
