I am heading home with a new coral from the fish store. I forgot to ask them if it is safe to dip this acropora in Coral ReVive. Is it safe and for how long?

I dip all my coral and have never seen anything bad happen to the coral.

I've not used that product but I would follow the manufacturers instructions.

Ok thank.

It says to dip for ten min. Just wanted to be safe.

Is lugol's iodine dip better?

Thanks

Always dip. I use pottasium chloride for acros...2 tablespoons per gallon of dip for 10 minutes. You can use a bunch of dips...normally I use lugols for lps, softies and euphyllia.
