A torch coral that has only 1 branch? Unlike my frogspawn my gold torch is large but only has 1 branch or skeleton. Not sure if I can frag it or not...

you can only frag them if there is more than one head.. I assume you're talking about splitting one head in half? no don't do that.

Some of the gold torches are wall-like. I would not recommend fragging unless you have experience fragging wall euphyllia. The torch must have 2 fully grown out mouths and cutting has risk of infection.

I've cut the top off a torch very close to the top where some of the tissue was left on the base.the base grew back and the top survived as well. But I have also accidentally split heads in half and don't remember any of them surviving. So in my opinion the survival rate for that type of fraging is very low.
