Sometimes when I make water for water changes I get lazy and forget about it and it stays mixing for almost four days sometimes, is this bad?

I use a 50gal blue water barrel that I plumbed in two pipes for mixing driven by a panworld pump. I leave it running with a heater inside all the time, that way the water is always up to temp and ready to go. Never had any measurable changes in anything.

With adequate mixing, the salt is dissolved in minutes. What happens to the solution afterwards, mixing or not, doesn’t matter

You should check the instructions of your salt mix. Red Sea Pro Salt, for example, is very specific. Its supposed to used within 4 hours of mixing, and should not be heated above a certain temperature, or you risk precipitation.
