I'm setting up a new nem tank that will look eerily similar to this (but with black aragonite gravel).

Some of the scape was built with quick set cement and has since been soaking separate tank. I will test what I can after one more 100% water change.

And now for the main event: what would make a decent canary coral in preparation for the btas I have coming? Zoas, sinulera leather, acro (kidding mostly), monti, aiptasia (it is a nem tank after all)?

It's a nem tank, why not? Never had a majano before.
I got majanos and colonial hydnoids if you really want some lol I probably got 20 or so rbtas in that tank

Zoa's let you know fast if something is wrong, and they get ticked off really fast, but some zoa's are super hardy.

Duncan's also make great warning devices... if my duncan is retracted, i know something is wrong, and again, they are really hardy.

Might be a bit before I add too many that would hide the black widow Adam is sending me. But they'll have a home if they show up. I'm a sucker for a rescue.

Thanks. I was leaning zow. My Duncan has been retracted for 2 or 3 months, since it got tagged by an aip... It's working on new heads though.
