My wrasse has not emerged this morning after adding a new fish to the tank yesterday. Is this a normal response

Not specifically wrasses, but I've had fish disappear for weeks and then suddenly show back up. Make sure you're also checking places in the back of the tank, it could have somehow gotten into.

It probably is just hiding! common for fish to hide like that!

Either hiding or did a carpet dive.

I have had wrasses hide in the sand for long periods when scared.

Also, do you have a lid? Could have gotten scared and jumped.
Thank you!

I have a jump guard so I doubt it has jumped out, fingers crossed it shows his face
