Just got this one up and running and really enjoying it so far. It is my 3rd tank behind a 120 SPS dominant mixed reef and a 60 gallon cube with LPS and zoas.

This tank is a 24"x24" with a depth of 6". Water depth is around 4" after substrate. Has a small built in overflow box in the rear corner with a bottom drain. Return is out of the overflow and is two directional heads.

It is tied into the sump of my main display tank using flexible tubing. Powered by a used Neptune COR 20 that I got a really great price on. Way too big a pump even at minimum speed so I have it set up on a ball valve that is only open to 60 or 70%.

Light is a new Kessil A360XE. Still getting the lighting dialed in on this one. Par target is around 150 to 100 depending on the location in the tank and the light output vs the par readings are much different than I am used to.

Substrate is a combination of live sand underneath calcium reactor media. This allows for better biological waste breakdown. I originally ran it with just the reactor media and I was having issues with waste accumulating between the rocks and needing to constantly use a turkey baster to clean it off.

I also left 1/3 as sand only in front of the overflow box. This lets waste settle in the lowest flow area and get taken care of by the CuC. Will get more pics of the tank uploaded.

Stocked with a longfin black lightning clown, a ruby dragonet, and a cleaner shrimp. Various CuC.

Moved a number of my mushrooms in from the main display and I am working on acquiring more high end mushrooms. Very easy to kill the flow here and target feed the mushrooms. I have been using LPS pellets which most of them seem to love. No feeding response at all from the Deadpools though.

Hoping to give them a good spot to grow and multiply. Will be experimenting with light and flow to get the jawbreakers to move and multiply more, esp the PM!
