sorry about the fish lose we all know how that goes.

think your new angelfish will be OK with the clam and LPS?
some time I have dreams of setting my RS650p ( down graded form the 750 I had) as a fish only. but I love coral to much and the 650 is on the small fish ( for me) for a fish only.

keep us updated. stay safe 2020 is almost over. hopefully 2021 will be better year for us all!

Thanks! Yeah me too! He took over the tank on day 1, but he doesn't chase or nip at this point. He put my previous boss the purple tang in his place. So far so good. The rest are Wrasses, and they could care less! LOL!

Thanks! Jury is out on the clam, nothing has happened yet. As far as the LPS I have good luck with large angels and hammers, torches, frog spawn, etc. No luck with fleshy LPS like open brain corals or Acans. I had to trade them in to the LFS.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! I thought I would add some new pics I just took today! I hope everyone's tank is doing great! I ordered 3 diffusers for my Echotech XR15 lights. I had to order them directly from Echotech because mine is the gen 4, and as you all know the gen 5 is out.

Nothing too knew to report. My Rainbow BT has been splitting, so I traded in two of the baby's to my LFS which went to the cost of the Passer, and another one went to the cost of my Dragon Soul Torch. The Dragon Soul has 2 1/2 heads. Probably my most expensive coral.

I still love my Passer. I have to say he is one of my favorite fish! Friendly and out going. He is the boss of the tank de throaning my Purple Tang.... LOL! Can't have fleshy LPS like Acans or anything like that though. That's ok, I traded those in. Here are the pictures!

Also thanks everyone for reading my build thread! You all inspire me and keep me going when I need it!

i love meaty LPS but I so want a regal angel...like real bad but just love my LPS to much.

Thanks!!!! I know what you mean! I had some really nice Scan colonies too! Had to make a choice. I did try and chance it briefly, but Acans were like a huge irresistible buffet for Angels! LOL!

I do have a little nano RFA tank I thought about making that the lps tank but I love me some big meaty LPS. all tho three had to find these days and cost a ton...so maybe 1st i got to get the build finished slowest build ever...

LOL! I totally hear ya! I was bummed giving up my Acans! They were growing into nice big colonies. It was Angel or Acans. Plus I like scolies and Welsos too. Oh well! Nothing worse than spending a nice chunk of change on a coral for it to become a late night snack by my Angel!

Hi! Yeah I raised him from a baby. I left my lid off for a bit and he jumped out. By the time I got to him he had died. I was so bummed!

Oh wow beautiful fish. How big was he when you got him and how big is he now? According to books they get huge.
