Candy crush and Deadpool shrooms

Anyone have experience on how long it takes these guys to gain their secondary colors of green and purple?

I would imagine it's similar to Jawbreakers, with a lot of that being dependent on lineage. I've had some color up quick, and some get huge with little extra color.
