Canon EOS 70D DSLR Camera help

Just purchased this camera along with a 100mm macro.


Any suggestions on settings?

I have two lense covers. One long tube that has a clear end, and a shorter tube from addictive aquaculture that has the filtered lense.

I don't shoot a whole lot of macro, but this is what I use when I'm using the kit lens. I don't use any filters or anything. You will either need to set a custom white balance or adjust it in the RAW editor.

Shoot in RAW
Av mode
F4.5 or so
ISO 400

Here are a few images with roughly those settings. NOTE: I am not a photographer, so go easy on me lol. Some of these were taken by a friend with a 70D and the others were taken by me with a 50D.
