I was wondering what some people settings on their cannon (Especially eos rebel) I have a bunch of lenses so that's not an issue. I am very interested in taking better photos than my phone.

You can click on any of the pics I post in my threads and it will take you to the Flickr posting. All the shot data is there (camera settings and lens).
For instance

I usually shoot with my T6i set for Aperture priority (Av on the dial). This allows me to set the aperture and the camera does everything else.

I have been shooting with a t7i lately. Will try to replicate some of your settings @PedroYoung
Just keep in mind the setting used in my tank under my tank lighting might/might not work for you in your tank. My settings will change also when I shoot during daylight lighting vs my blue morning/evening lighting. Things that will always help though
1- turn off flow in tank
2- shoot perpendicular to the glass
3- use a tripod

This is the camera bundle I have. I am working with the lenses I have now along with post edit software to create decent shots. It's not ideal, but I have been able to get some pretty good photos.
