so last time i saw it was during feeding yesterday and cant him now. Is there a chance it could have gone up through the return nozzel? bc the flow on the return nozzel is very very slow like almost non existent bc i havent topped off so the return pump chamber very empty

They usually spend their time hiding behind the rockwork, I never see mine. My first guess is that its hiding behind the rocks.

Mine used to be out all the time, then it found a cave and I only see it during feeding time. I'm not sure if my six line is picking on it or not as my purple firefish is also in hiding.

Ok imma see during feeding time which is very soon

Yeah, it is probably just hiding; settled in a cave or something! :) Wouldn't worry about nothing there mate!

I saw mine all of 30 seconds when he went into the display tank 3 months ago. Haven't seen it since.

Hopefully your story has a better ending than mine.

I’ve had mine for two years and like yours it is always out and about. Three weeks ago it didn’t come out to feed and stayed in a crevice in the back of the rock work for two days and then each day came out more and more. It is currently back out all the time. Idk why he did that but it could offer you some hope. Keep us updated.
