Can't get covers on apex fusion to slide off the outlets

Just setup a microsoft surface tablet to display the homescreen for the apex for my tank, everything else works great touching to scroll up and down, pressing buttons, etc. but I cant get the covers to slide at all. Any ideas? Using chrome

Yeah its on and says the device supports it, and the buttons work if I remove the covers with that setting but id like to keep them on. Thats why I mentioned the type of tablet and browser, I have a feeling its a setting with one of them maybe? I just literally cant get the covers off, ive tried swiping, tapping, double tapping, holding etc.

I might be wrong but I believe that's a safety feature. It works differently on a browser than it does on the app. So accidents don't accidently happen. Have you tried on both the app and the browser?

Is there an app for desktop? works fine on phone

I goto https://apexfusion.com/ and login

so I believe thats a browser. Did you download fusion? if not download it and log in thru there and see if that allows you to slide.

On your tablet can you switch from tablet to labtop mode or something like that?

Yes, I’ve tried tablet mode and it didn’t fix it unfortunately. Ill try again rn though

Try it the other way around and then go to the setting outlined above and you should get a message touchscreen not supported.

• Run Device Manager
• Expand the Human Interface Devices category
• Disable "HID-Compliant touch screen"

Its a setting in windows thats causing this. Its reporting to the website that the page is touchscreen only so the website just closes the safety sliders. Sometimes using Edge fixes it.

Its also strange that you wasent able to log in locally.

The way its mounted i cant easily flip it or put the keyboard back on. Is it safe to disable the touch screen like that will I still be able to use the screen? I can try edge

Im not sure. Try it and see. You can always go back to it if you cant use the touch screen.
