I cant get my PH above 7.8 ive been adding kalkwasser to maintain calcium and alkalinity but Ph never goes above 7.8. I Use api test kit and the ph is super high with just a drop of the kalkwasser water and rhe tank water but when it goes in the tank it just doesnt change. I have good surface aggitation and even opened all my windows. I turned my microwave vent and opened the bathroom and turned on the exhausr to push room air out and draw fresh air from the windows. My parameters are as followed. I know everyone says not to chase numbers and my coral and fish are fine but i want everything to florish!

Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-0 ( i doses AB plus and feed reef roids every other day or 2)
Phosphates- about 0.03
Calcium-415
Alkalinity- about 10.2 dkH
Magnessium-1240 (going to raise it by about 100 over 3 day period

Tank is 90 gallon(about 110 with sump) mixed reef. Some small SPS, LPS, and softies.

Ill be taking any recommendations as to why the PH cant be raised and taking recommended actions

You could run the skimmer hose to the closest window to take directly from the outside. Is it a nano system? Might not work with small (weak) skimmers.

You can also try to add a co2 scrubber

I wouldn’t use kalk unless I needed to compensate for alk consumption

does this tank located in a bedroom?
What type of corals do you hold?

You are going to need a better tool that API if you want to look at pH much, IMO.

A pH Pen from amazon is cheap and much more reliable.

It does not take much kalk in a small tank to get pH well into the mid 8s.

Is there a pen you recommend that’s known to be reliable in a reef setting or are they all pretty much the same.

Keep them calibrated and rinse them under tap water after each use. They are less than $20, so don't expect a lifetime tool. :) You can tell when they are worn out when they will not stay calibrated. Even the cheap ones should last a few years if not five.
