Curious from owners of the captive bred biota Coral beauty and how they do with corals? I have mostly zoas, and lps. Thank you Dustin

It’s going to be 50/50 regardless if they’re captive bred or wild but they are on the safer side with coral

I got one a few months ago and she is a really nice fish. only saw her peck on my sps once, and that was when she was browsing the rock so I dont think it was intentional. other than that one time, ive never seen her pick on anything except rock. I have lots of LPS, and a few SPS and Zoas.

Not what I wanted to hear, but I really appreciate the feedback!
sorry about that. just telling you my experience because I thought it would help. if you try one, just be sure to have a backup plan

I appreciate it, probably won’t get one. The idea of having to tear everything apart to catch it later is a big enough deterrent.

hmmm.. have one of these in my qt now awaiting graduation to DT. If you're talking Biota, they're small... half-dollar sized

All I can say is very pretty, but no corals to much in the QT

My friend got a pair from Biota hoping that they were captivated bred.
After a few weeks they started to pick on all corals. he sold them for half of what he paid.

I will say I have one and it is a model citizen. Doesn’t pick at anything and looks great.
