Those of you who have CB Regals, how are they eating and have they grown much since getting them? If you got them with any degree of misbarring / aberrant patterning are they still this way or are they changing into normal Regal Angels?

i cant think

I wonder this as well, also how have they been in comparison to a Red Sea Regal.

I see. Any pics?
I know I'm a bit late to the party but I just got a couple of decent pictures of my CB regal and was looking for a place to show him off.

I got two of them on March 2nd after some weather shipping delays. They are from the first batch imported into the US. The big one was brave from the start and always out while the other one has always been more timid. The big one is close to 2 inches long now while the other is about 1 inch.

Here is another one of the bug one with a 2" exquisite fairy wrasse I just got today.

We're not certain if they'll be grey or yellow bellies though it looks like they're staying yellow to me.

Is that definitely a yellow belly? It’s got a hint of grey belly just under the eye. Wonder if these have traits of being a Hybrid as the breeders don’t know what the parents DNA is.

I was going to post a similar question and found this thread from last fall. Any updates from people who got some of the first batch of captive bred Regal angels? I'm personally trying to figure out how much have they grown since you got them. I have a 150 with 8 fish in it currently and a couple more on the way. So I'm trying to figure out how long I would have to let the regal angel grow out before I could add it to my display.

I'm not on here much any more as life got a bit too busy as you can see from the algea in my tank. My angels are a bit over a year old now. The big one is about half the size of our purple tang and probably close to 1.5" long. The small one is maybe half that size. I got them together so I just assume the big one is turning male and the other female.
