I am running 2 kessils and a Giesemann Spectra (one bulb, 4 T5s) and I absolutely love it. I run the Kessils on the outside of the Spectra angled in but when all three shimmer lights are on its simple an amazing combo of shimmer color etc. But it makes the top of my tank a bit messy :)

I love Radium Lit tanks, but my temps were getting pretty high in the Texas summers while running 2x250w. I also found the hotspots to be hard to work with in coral placement. That is the reason I went Orphek over Radion, as the par is a nice even spread similar to t5

Quick picture update! All taken under blue lighting with a gel filter and no modifications. Pretty true to life on what I see in actinics!

Have an equipment update coming soon, so stay tuned for the major change!!!

And of course, updated shot of The Riddler...it got an interesting streak when it started overtaking a bit of the chitty chitty bang bang on the right...like it wants to graft together!

Oh, and the equipment update is new lights!

Got a great deal on an 8x54w ATI Powermodule Hybrid and went for it. I also added a custom spectrum actinic bar from a Orphek in the front, which is a nice addition for some extra pop. Loving the light so far, but it is only day 1!

You know, this one looked like a normal rainbow Mille in his tank as a colony. It sat in my tank for a good 3-4 months looking just like a typical thick-branched Mille, then all of a sudden starting sprouting these really thin branches that look like a tenuis more than a mille....it’s really weird but I like it!

Give me that foxflame back! I got ripped off! Its gorgeous!

What's the one right above it?

Things look great under the ATI fixture!

Trade you for a Baton Rouge!

The one above it is a Jason Fox Unknown I believe...came in a WWC Acro pack and it was a brown turd for almost a year...finally woke up a few months ago. The unknown was the only frag I couldn’t 100% identify from the pack and the list they gave me, so going with that.

They are testing 0 on my Red Sea kit still, but I’ve got plenty of algae growth and some Macro growing in the fuge, so there are some nutrients there. I’ve also added a yellow eye Kole tang and increased feeding to try and get more in the water. Colors have responded well with that change so far.
