Cardinal Fish Experiences

I am interested in hearing other people's cardinal fish experience. If you have experience with longspine cardinal fish or yellow stripe cardinal fish I would definitely like to hear your experience. At first I was sold on Seale's cardinals but seeing other options have made me have second thoughts. The reasons are the other two options are smaller and the colors are not boring. They also aren't 45$ each so that is another positive.

• Did you see any aggression between each other?
• Did it go away in time, increased feeding, or more fish homes?
• Were they active swimmers or did they hang around a spot in the aquarium?
• Did they shoal often for you?
• Did you have aggressive fish that encourage them to shoal?
• Did they spawn for you?

My experience is you need alot of them in a big tank or theyll fight til theres one left, or til theres 1 male 1 female. Not very active swimmers and mostly just chill until feeding time
