The small bulkhead will be for the pump. The fat hose goes to a tank.
Don't know why I did this but here you go!! It works at full garden hose pressure too.

You should swap the siphon surge with a float switch activated electric valve that turns off with another float switch and set it so there is no air in the pipe.

This thing is a bubble monster. I only tried it on my pool, as I made it while grilling. I don't even know if I have a tank for it haha. I like having a protein skimmer that isn't freaking out.

Ok now I have a more appropriate situation than using the pool. I set up a 55g outside and the CSD is on a stand on the steps to my pool deck. Its only 70, nobody is swimming this week. Oh and there is a plastic bag plugging the future return plumbing for when I install it, now that it works I know it will be on my tank some time in the future.

I've got a small utility pump, like 200gph or something slow like that. This has about 34 inches of head height so its probably less. I filled te 55 up all the way and turned on the pump.
Images aren't working ?! So I guess you'll have to wait or let me make a YouTube vid

Thank you! I got a video of the surge device. Waiting for Comcast to fix my Internet though. 3G and YouTube do not mix well :p
