Hey guys I have a question, so I have a carpet nem in my 72gal bowfront and its hosting 2 clarkii's.... He's about 6" wide when fully extended...there is also a small selection of lps corals in there (zoas, polyps, etc)

Can I add another carpet to the tank and another pair of clowns along with it at the same time? Right now the tank is kinda boring with just those 2 small fish in there....do you guys have any other tank mate suggestions if the clown are a no go?

Flame angel or a yellow tang/ kole tang?....or how about a couple pairs of Bangii Cardinals

I think you'd have problems with that scenario in a tank of your size. What kind of carpet, i.e. Haddon's, etc. One of the Bristle Tooth Tangs would work, i.e. Tomini, Kole, etc. a pair of Bangii, Fairy/Flasher Wrasse.

It's a haddon's carpet....here's an old pic

Other than potential compatibility problems, the problem is with the size, its 6" now but can/will get a lot larger, up to 3' across. I had a 180gal. 6 x 2 x 2, and only kept the one. Although Anthony/Terri, who are the ones I got mine from had a red and green together. The clown fish once paired will fight to protect their territory.

Gotcha OK so I'll give one of those tangs a try....are kole tangs difficult to keep?
