Double purple gorgon (DBTC).

Favites on the bottom left. The left-most colony I call Jungle Troll favias (DBTC). It is maroon base and frosty blue striation/ color. One next to it I call Night Elf favites (DBTC) green eyes, purple ring, bright blue-green outer (DBTC). In the center is the dark red toadstool leather I dontaed to De Anza College. I thought it died, but I come back a year later and it is huge! I only seen this color twice out of over a hundred toadstool leathers. I call it the De anza toadstool since it has the same color as my school.

Testing out SPS. They are showing nice polyp extension and okay growth, considering I have old T5 bulbs. Waiting on my LED lighing. Thanks to Adolfo and Irvin for the test subjects.

Went out to Jim's place in Berkeley and had a blast. Scored 2x red headed gobies, a couple of Halimeda macro species, and a nice favia. Casper highly reccommends a visit.

I paid a visit to Neptune's today. The result: a boat load of favia frags. I don't think I ever had this many frags in my tank before. So much for show tank; it's looking more like frag tank. =p

Well, I finally got my Icecap 660 T5 retrofit installed. I'm so glad to get that crappy Katana/ Chinese/ piece of scrap light off of my tank. It was depressing watching my coral brown out.
The difference is crystal clear. Don't cheap out on the lights is the lesson, hehe. My canopy actually closes all the way now.^^
