Anyone keep one of these? I've had this little 1.5" guy for about 2 weeks now. Absolute ham, love his giant eyes. He has become super bold, begs for food with the chromis and clowns in quarantine with him, and will take mysis and brine from my hand. Last pic is the day we brought him home from the LFS.

Gonna put him in my 240 gallon FOWLR eventually, just want him to be a bit bigger and finish prophylactic treatment for parasites.

Common name is the popeye catalufa. This one was sold as a Pacific Popeye catalufa (Pristigenys serrula), but I'm pretty sure it is actually an Atlantic Popeye Catalufa (Pristigenys alta) as the store he came from had just recently received a large shipment of Florida fish.

Largest recorded specimen was about 11", 8" seems to be more normal for this species (Pristigenys alta). Not aggressive, just will swallow any small fish or motile inverts that will fit in its mouth.
