My tank didn't feel right without any sharks in it. I still have a coral catshark which I hatched a few years ago and a white spotted which I hatched last year at my brothers house. But I have nothing in my tank. I have been eyeing a catshark egg for the past week and bought it the other day.

Yes there are different types of eggs. What your store has is most likely a brown banded bamboo. It can also be a grey bamboo, white spotted bamboo or less likely an eppie. Here is a side by side of a white spotted and a coral catshark.
