Coral banded shrimp eating a porcelain crab...my last one too. I started with three, and a year later I have none. I think this guy was picking them off when they molt.

Wow that's a little scary, I have some new Florida live rock and have around 6-8 gorilla crabs and 3-5 porceLain crabs I was thinking about getting one of those but haven't investigated them. What does. _Alex_ mean by they are killers will they eat fish? And if he does eat my porcelain's I didn't think they were that important?
NIce picture by the way.

My coral banded will eat anything, and is very territorial. He did eat a damsel and peppermint shrimp, as well as my porcelain crabs and countless hermit crabs.

You gonna keep him? I'd give him the boot!! :)

And to the poster above about gorilla crabs, try to get em out now. They are very predatory, especially as the get bigger. I had tons in my FL LR. Caught out every last one of them. The last one I knew was in there. He was getting bold and looked like he was sitting down to dinner on some CARs and I plucked him out Miagi style with some forcepts!
