Any one know the difference between these two varieties of grape caulerpa?

I see most people using racemosa but when I look at pictures my stuff looks like lentillifera.

I also know that lentillifera is a common food item. I don't think that I want to eat macro out of my fuge but I have seen people on here eat tank grown macro.

Contact the Macro man on eBay. You can find him by looking up nori clip. He is the macro master. Tell him I sent you. He's extremely knowledgeable.

Send me your C. Lentillifera. Yes we eat it and it is a superfood. When I first started growing Red Ogo for nutrient export, I made a post on RC about eating it fresh. A chef from Kansas City asked me how did I clean out the pods. When I said that I eat them with my chevichee, I heard him laugh from 1000 miles.

Thanks guys. I will post some pics when I get a chance. I might be tempted to take a bite if it wasn't teaming with pods, bristle worms and brittle stars.

I am not qualified to make that call. It really requires lab grade microscope and somebody qualified to interpret the results. Call it what you want, I would not disagree.

I will continue to call it Grape Caulerpa.

Fair enough. That's what the guy who gave it to me years ago called it too lol
