Hello Everyone,
I was doing some maintenance and got a nice piece of Cheato to help with nitrates and phosphates.

I noticed the Caulerpa is going crazy so after reading it I am trying to figure out what species I have.

I have read about it going sexual and dumping all the bad back into the tank.

Can anyone ID?
Should I remove it all and just leave the cheato?

Caulerpa serrulata. I believe that Caulerpa going sexual is one of those over stated forum topics. Because this algae can become invasive personally I would not have it, but many hobbyist are able to keep it limited to the sump or refugium.
