So I noticed my Cerith snail laid eggs on the glass overnight and I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to actually get these to hatch before my fish or other inverts eat them all?

I know it will take a couple of weeks to hatch, but does anyone have experience trying to raise these baby snails?

I don’t know about intentionally hatching them, but in the past my population of cerith snails would go up and down as they would breed and then eventually starve themselves out. They are absolutely able to survive if the other tank inhabitants don’t get them before they hatch. But, if these eggs get eaten, they’ll lay more, hopefully next time they’ll lay them in the rock work where they’ll be a little more protected.

Thanks! Hopefully this happens again. My Red Lined Wrasse gobbled them up in seconds after seeing them with the lights on.
