Ceriths getting eaten?

Hello,

I put 4 Ceriths in my tank a week ago and 2 are already eaten. I dance the line of over feeding, there’s always food for my other critters to eat that my fish don’t eat. Why do you think I keep finding emptying shells? My astrea, mexican turbo, hermits, nassatrius snail is never touched?

Do you have hermits in the tank ?
Fish that eat snails ?

I have two small hermit that were added when the ceriths were added. I have a fire fish and 2 onyx fish

Probably ate them for the shells
