Chaeto for nutrient reduction

I'm starting a small algae scrubber in my home reef aquarium and have some experience growing chaeto in a small breeder net in my classroom reef. Certainly, there are many different variables involved, but my question is...What have others experienced in regards to nutrient export while growing chaeto?

i didn't test to see which it was better at reducing/eliminating, but it did well as nutrient export in general.

A decent amount. I can see a difference testing before and after trimming mine. I took at least 3 cups worth out of my refugium. A few days later my nitrates went from 30 to 35.

I trim almost weekly now.
