Anyone want some chaeto? Im harvesting this weekend and I would rather give it to a fellow reefer than throw it away.

FWIW:

People that knew me 14 years ago know I got a log of **** for recommending the use of macro algaes.

I do find it rewarding to see the importance of a tank system balanced and stabilized with algae/macros coming back into style.

my .02

beaslbob your .02 is not worth a penny now with inflation:)
Just picking at ya. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm supposed to add salt before or after the fish.

Ive got to trim mine down this weekend too. I have a heavy bio load and still zero phos, Ni, Na, Ammonia. I have recently increased feeding because my coral was looking skinny instead of hairyish.... if that's a word? I think because lack of nutrients in the water. My absolute only algae is a little dusting on the glass I clean every 2 or 3 days.

Just outta curiosity, what did you use for the container? clear 4" cylinders IMHO can be expensive vrs old plastic gallon bottles.

I bought a Deepwater Quattro Reactor and used some warm white led stip lights. It grows like crazy with the warm white but I kind of wished I would have used purple and red.
