I've had this chalice for a couple of months now, and it has completely changed color over that time. I have it under PC's at the moment. I'm setting up another tank that will be using T5's. If I move this to the new tank, is there any chance it could revert back to its orange color?

Can anyone ID it, btw?

So you're telling me there's a chance... YEAH!

(Sorry, I just thought of Dumb and Dumber. Still one of my favorite movies.)

hahaha

The chalice looks very nice, it seems maybe the orange color was a faded red you are seeing now?

Color-wise, I like the orange better just because I don't have much orange in my tank apart from my zoas. I have to say, though, the entire chalice really glows now as opposed to just the eyes before. It definitely stands out more than it did.

It was most likely stressed out from either fragging, moving it, lighting, or water conditions. Since then it has settled in and colored up.
It will most likely continue to either do what it has or level off. Unless of course you switch things up on it again to make it stress out.
Switching to T-5's will likely change it a little, as in the type of color reflected, or the deepness of color, but it should remain in the same spectrum.

That is my best guess.
