Chalice Coral Placement

I found a very GORGEOUS tyree chalice coral on sale that I would love to get. If I got it could I mount it to the back glass of my tank so it will encrust the whole glass in time??

The only reason I would say not to do that is every chalice I get seems to have its own idea on placement regardless of what I was told and by who LOL. If you want to run with that idea, and its a nice one, I'd let it grow out till it was good enough to split and mount 1 where you want and grow the other.
