I am looking to purchase a frag of high end chalice either jelly bean or anything else “rainbow”.

I plan to glue it vertically on the back wall. Will it go into a shape of a cup toward the light?

How do I know which chalice will only encrust on surface and which one will grow into a cup shape? I want the one that will go grow into a cup shape.

I am far from an expert on chalices and assume some are more likely to "chalice" than others. However out of several dozen chalices i have owned the only teo times i ever had any grow into a shape more like a chalice was when they fell behind rockwork and had almost no light. Some have plated out more like a monti-cap, but other than those two accidents no luck in a chalice form.
